Leadership
Head of Strategic Consulting
Job Description

Are you a seasoned strategy leader ready to shape the future direction of a global industrial pioneer — combining hands-on consulting delivery with the development of a high-performing team of top-tier strategists?

As our new Head of Strategic Consulting, you'll be leading Grundfos's Strategic Consulting function — scoping and delivering high-impact strategy projects, advising Group Management on critical decisions, and building a world-class team of strategy professionals that drives enterprise-wide transformation.

What you will be doing?

As a key part of the Strategic Consulting, Group Strategy team, you'll create impact by serving as a trusted advisor to senior executives and translating complex strategic challenges into clear choices, actionable roadmaps and measurable business outcomes across Grundfos.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Lead, develop and continuously improve the Strategic Consulting team — defining priorities, delivery standards, resource allocation and capability development across seniority levels
  • Scope, staff and oversee critical strategy projects sponsored by Group Management, Divisions and Group Functions, translating strategic priorities into actionable programmes and business cases
  • Act as a trusted partner to the VP, Group Strategy, supporting the leadership and development of the Group Strategy function through strategic sparring, ad hoc analyses, executive communication, governance, team development, and the mobilization of Strategic Consulting resources to address priority business needs
  • Drive excellence in strategic and commercial due diligence, including strategic fit assessments and value creation analysis for M&A and growth initiatives
  • Prepare and quality-assure decision materials, leadership updates and presentations for Group Management, the Board and other senior forums
  • Bring external perspectives, competitive insights and emerging best practices into strategic discussions while strengthening governance and follow-up on enterprise priorities

What makes you a great fit?

You're a proven strategy leader with deep consulting expertise, exceptional executive presence and a track record of coaching high-performing teams through complex, ambiguous challenges in fast-paced environments.

We'd also imagine that you are/have:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Strategy, Engineering or a related discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in strategy consulting (management consulting background required) or corporate strategy in a multinational environment
  • Significant experience scoping and leading complex strategic initiatives with enterprise-wide impact, including demonstrated success influencing C-suite executives
  • Proven people-leadership experience coaching and developing high-performing strategy teams, with excellent English communication skills for executive and international audiences

It's a plus if you also:

  • Hands-on experience with M&A due diligence, growth strategy, transformation programmes or strategic business model design
  • Programme and portfolio leadership experience with strong financial and commercial acumen

Why you'll love working here?

Day to day, you can look forward to:

  • A working environment built around your needs, with flexible hours, home working opportunities and parental support.
  • Annual bonuses, health insurance and a strong focus on well-being activities.
  • Three days' additional paid leave for volunteering.
  • On-demand training and structured development programmes to support your growth.
