Are you ready to lead the digital transformation of water?

 

As Head of Digital Solutions, Water Utility, you will be anchored in our Water Utility Division, more specifically within Solution & Marketing. The position can be based in either Bjerringbro, Denmark or Brookshire, USA, with the flexibility to work in a hybrid setup

 

You will play a pivotal role in driving the successful growth of cutting-edge digital offerings across our business. In close collaboration with application specialists, developers, and commercial teams, you will oversee the full lifecycle of the portfolio of our digital offerings, aligning cross-functional efforts to meet the evolving needs of water utilities and groundwater experts. Your leadership will help future-proof our portfolio, drive growth, and support Grundfos’s ambition to solve some of the largest water challenges our customers face.

 

About the role

As Head of Digital Solutions for our Water Utility division, you will be at the forefront of driving digital transformation across the business. You will lead the roadmap, and ensure that our solutions deliver real value to customers aligned with our strategic goals. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams as well as external customer and partners to shape innovative, end-user-focused solutions that address real-world challenges in water. You will champion stakeholder engagement and bring people with you on the journey.

 

Furthermore, your key responsibilities will be:

  • Define the strategic direction and long-term roadmap for digital offerings in close collaboration with application teams and other stakeholders to support our application strategies
  • Prioritize the development backlog for our digital offerings in alignment with internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive and support customer engagement to define clear stakeholder requirements for features and offerings
  • Support marketing, training, and external communication related to our digital offerings
  • Strategically drive cross-functional partnerships to deliver digital solutions aligned with business objectives and quality standards
  • Lead divisional transformation by enabling new business models and digitally enabled services that solve customer pain points
  • Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration that accelerates digital maturity and market responsiveness

 

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a strategic leader with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for digital and water. You thrive in complex environments, balancing multiple priorities while keeping customer needs at the centre of every decision. Your ability to collaborate across functions and drive continuous improvement will be absolutely key to your success.

 

Furthermore, we imagine that you bring: 

  • Master’s degree in engineering or similar.
  • Proven experience in leading digital portfolios in a complex, global organization, preferably with P&L responsibility.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Lives a customer-centric approach - and familiarity with the water industry is a plus.

Besides this, you must be willing to travel when required. You can expect up to 60 days of travel per year.

Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of Grundfos’s total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc.  Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in Brookshire, Texas.
