Global Program Development Manager

We seek a Global Program Development Manager – a chief project manager role with substantial insights in technology and business. 
 

At Grundfos, we develop state-of-the-art reliable and sustainable water management technology for private and commercial use. 
 

You will be joining the Product Development function within the Commercial Building Service Division, where this end-to-end project manager role is hosted. 
 

We are responsible for all development activities, the future innovations as well as the end-to-end project execution of 2 key product groups; MAGNA and MIXIT®.
 

The position is a located at our headquarters in Bjerringbro, Denmark.
 

What is the job about?
In this role, you will hold the mandate to lead the development of complex and business-critical product programs. 
 

In the projects you will lead the overall project supported by relevant domain project managers e.g. from commercial and production aspects. Depending on the complexity of the project or at specific stages you will step in and take on the project leadership role of a domain specific area e.g as the technical project manager. 
 

Collaboration is essential and taking up a chief project manager role you will be the key person assuring alignment and engagement of many stakeholders across the organization as well as within the project team. 
 

This role offers you a position with stakeholders throughout the organization and the opportunity to set your mark on decisions supporting our future goals. 
 

Your responsibilities will cover:

• Leading the execution of projects, ensuring delivery within the approved scope, quality, cost and timeframes.
• Identify and manage benefits and risks.
• Stakeholder management in a highly complex business environment.
• Drive the interaction with our customers to understand their needs and prerequisites. 
• Ensure project alignment with customer needs and Grundfos strategies.
• Hand over completed developments of high quality to our Global Program Management. 
• Constant organization development and implement new working methods in adherence to our digital and agile transformation.
• Underline a sustainable agenda throughout product development.

Your background
We will be looking for a person with a visionary outlook and creative mindset. You enjoy leading strategic projects and setting the landmarks in the technical landscape. You are excellent at communicating business cases and driving performance goals in a global team. 
 

Key qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience with leading and executing complex projects within product and program management
• A relevant degree in engineering or business 
• Ability to travel up to 30 days per year to visit customers, production facilities and other functions throughout the global organization
• Proficient in English
• Understanding of multiple technical domains e.g. motor, electronics and software is an advantage
