In Grundfos we are looking for our new Field service technician and project manager for equipment transfer projects and you might be the one we are looking for!
What is the job about?
As our new “Field service technician and project manager for equipment transfer projects” in our Group Facility, you will be the project manager, responsible for our transfer projects between Grundfos locations globally and project manager for the team executing the transfer of production equipment. Meaning you will be leading a team who will disassemble equipment in one location and assemble it again in the new location. You will support the team with technical knowledge. Moreover, specifically you will:
- Ensure end to end solutions for transfer projects (execution).
- Lead and manage project teams of specialists.
- Manage all aspects of transfer project execution, both large and small scale. E.g. scenarios for plans, cost, planning, team creation & executing.
You will work out from our HQ in Bjerringbro, Denmark. Be aware of that you should expect some travel to our production sites in this position. Approximately 60-100 working days a year.
Your background
We imagine that you:
- Have a background as electrician, mechanical technician, maintenance technician or Marine Engineer background, B.Sc within mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Alternatively have similar knowledge obtained by years of experience, especially within transfer projects or other installations and/or service projects.
- Have 4 – 6 years of experience within installation or transfer of production equipment or similar.
- Have proven record of solid project management and/or team leadership
- Have good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Possess strong cultural understanding capable of working effectively with people in a global context
- Have English language skills on business level.
- Are familiar with Microsoft office package.
