Then you may be the one we are looking for as our new Electrical Engineer for Advanced Manufacturing Engineering. 

 

Develop the future of mechanical design of Production test equipment for Grundfos 
In our HQ in Bjerringbro, you will join our Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) function of more than 200 colleagues. Together, we develop innovative, robust and efficient manufacturing test equipment for our factories worldwide. You will report to Senior Manager of Test Engineering, Gábor Véninger. If you live in Hungary and fit perfect for this role, we do have the opportunity of location you in Szekesfevervar. 

In this role, you will be responsible for developing PLC and/or Labview and Teststand solutions for production test systems. Mainly in the area of final testing of our products, just before it is packaged and sent to our customers. Working closely with HW, SW, suppliers, process specialists and Project managers. 

 

Areas of work:
•    Develop PLC programs for our pump / motor testing equipment.
•    Develop and commission test sequences in NI Labview and Teststand environment for our internal production test system.
•    Collaborate with electrical design colleagues to have the optimal equipment specification for the needed product tests.
•    Collaborate with product developers to deploy the right test sequence into production equipment.
•    Keep close collaboration with Lead and Senior engineers in production test area.
•    Specialize the test knowledge in our circulator pumps area.
•    Take part in projects for new product development, capacity expansions, optimization of tester sw. Just to mention a few.

 

Tools:
•    You will use Rockwell PLC suite for developing PLC programs.
•    You will use NI Labview and Teststand suite for developing test sequences for the testers.

Furthermore, we imagine that you:
•    Preferably have a bachelor’s degree or similar in electrical / software / mechatronic engineering.
•    Preferably have experience with programming production equipment for high volume production.
•    Have experience with reading electrical drawings of production equipment.
•    Have knowledge of relevant simulation tools.
•    Curious about new technologies, eager to develop own competences
•    Speak and write English fluently
