As our new EHS Specialist, your overall responsibility is to ensure a smooth alignment process between the Group EHS department and our Group Technology and Innovation (GT&I) organization. Your job is to support the realization of the EHS strategy and targets within the GT&I organization to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of the employees. 

From Group EHS to GT&I 
To make sure our EHS strategy are realized in the whole organization, we are right now looking for a EHS Specialist to support our GT&I organization. You will be our daily responsible in the Grundfos Group Technology and Innovation organization for coordinating and implementing our EHS activities in full alignment with the Group EHS department. You will bring the GT&I development perspective into the Grundfos EHS procedures and ensure compliance with legal requirements, the Grundfos EHS management systems, in dialog with the GT&I leaders and employees, external auditors and authorities.    

Ensure the implementation of the EHS strategy
You will support the realization of the EHS strategy and targets within our GT&I organization to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of the employees. More specific, your key responsibilities will be to help ensure that our products and technologies are developed from a health and safety work perspective, including:

• Participate in the GT&I AMG (Arbejdsmiljøgruppe) and assist GT&I managers to ensure that EHS issues are solved.  
• Drive the GT&I implementation of the Grundfos EHS procedures that is agreed with the Group EHS department.
• Apply broad and advanced specialist knowledge and skills in the analysis of development methods and conduct studies on methods and equipment to meet safety standards.
• Ensure that the GT&I organization live up to the requirements of ISO14001 and ISO45001 to avoid non-conformities during internal and external audits.
• Ensure knowledge among GT&I employees about EHS management at Grundfos (EHS policy, workplace assessment, use of risk assessment, reporting of hazards, etc). 
• Conduct environmental, health and safety performance evaluations, identify risks or areas for improvement and investigate environmental or safety incidents.

Furthermore, you will work in close collaboration with the Group EHS department to assist in defining, creating and supporting the system of providing a healthy and safe work environment from a GT&I perspective.

You must be willing to speak up, challenge the organization and be a driving force in the EHS projects. You are outgoing and effective in following the task to the door. Most important you have a strong ability to influence and drive others.” explains Flemming Baltzersen, Head of Global Laboratories, Test & Verification. 

We imagine that you:

• Have a relevant education as “Maskinmester”, Engineer or potentially have a technical education combined with an advanced level program. 
• Most likely have a several years of relevant work experience from a professional EHS role, supporting key initiatives, preferably within a large organization.
• Have experience in defining, driving, and launching new processes within Environment, Health and Safety.
• Solid knowledge of the plans, processes, and activities within the functional area in Environment, Health and Safety.
• Knowledge about safety in relation to chemical substances and equipment as well as knowledge about CE label is an advantage.
• Have experience with ISO 45001/ISO 14001 and auditing.
• Have good communication skills and are fluent in English. Danish is a big advantage.
