As Chief Strategy and M&A Manager, you will own and drive the end-to-end M&A agenda as a key growth lever for the business. From shaping strategy and building a prioritized pipeline to executing transactions and ensuring value realization, you will play a central role in strengthening Grundfos' market position and future growth.
What you will be doing
As part of the Strategy & Transformation team, you will drive strategic growth through disciplined M&A investments and strong stakeholder collaboration.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute an M&A strategy aligned with business priorities, building and managing a pipeline of target opportunities.
- Lead end-to-end M&A transactions, including sourcing, due diligence, valuation, financial modelling, negotiation, structuring, and closing.
- Coordinate cross-functional due diligence processes and drive M&A governance, reporting, and best practices.
- Build robust investment cases and ensure post-acquisition value realization.
- Advise and influence senior stakeholders, leadership teams, and decision-making forums on M&A opportunities and strategic priorities.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Group M&A, Group Strategy, business leaders, and external advisors to ensure successful execution.
What makes you a great fit
You are a strategic and results-oriented M&A professional with strong commercial and financial acumen, proven deal experience, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders while driving transactions from opportunity to impact.
We imagine that you have:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience within M&A, corporate development, strategy consulting, or investment banking.
- Proven track record leading end-to-end transactions and developing programmatic M&A approaches.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, analytical, and business case development skills.
It is a plus if you also have
- Experience from a global manufacturing or industrial company.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging C-level leaders.
- Experience with post-merger integration and value realization initiatives.
