As our new Chief Quality Engineer, you will be driving quality excellence across products, systems, and platform architectures by championing reliability methods, sharpening quality requirements, and enabling cross-functional teams to deliver on the quality promises we make to our customers.

 

What you will be doing

As a key part of the QBS - Product Development Quality team, you'll create impact by Strengthening the foundation of quality across Grundfos Product Development by integrating quality requirements into Model-based Systems Engineering and ensuring our products consistently meet — and exceed — customer expectations.

 

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Carry out safety risk assessments and evaluations for the full Grundfos group
  • Point of contact for our technology projects for tailoring of relevant Quality activities to fit the specific project needs
  • Drive initiatives on how to improve Grundfos capabilities within design and development of robust and reliable products and solutions
  • Promote and deploy methods and tools within Design for Reliability & Robustness, driving best practices across product development teams
  • Frontload quality into Technology and Innovation processes, acting as Quality Assurance advisor for process updates and sharpening customer requirements into measurable specifications
  • Manage and deploy strategic initiatives within Product Development Quality, including maturing quality data and reporting on Quality KPIs to stakeholders at all levels
  • Drive Verification and Validation activities to lift quality results, and act as a Process Improvement Team member or as driver of specific Quality Assurance processes, methods, and tools
  • Enable teams and the broader organisation to set profitable quality requirements based on business needs and market feedback through coaching, communication, and knowledge sharing

Above all, you are a team player with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams at all organisational levels. Besides this, you are an analytical and systematic quality professional with excellent communication skills.

 

We would also imagine that you have:

  • Technical background such as e.g. electrical engineering or other relevant education
  • Strong experience in quality engineering within product development, with deep expertise in Design for Reliability, robustness methods, Risk assessment and Quality Requirements Management
  • Ability to work with Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) or concurrent engineering approaches, integrating quality requirements into technical architecture
  • Strong track record of driving cross-functional quality initiatives and communicating quality status, trade-offs, and recommendations to developers, managers, and top management
  • Willingness to be present at our headquarters in Bjerringbro, Denmark 2-3 days per week. We are open to candidates from other countries, but you must be open to relocation.
