Job Description

Drive financial excellence and strategic initiatives as Chief Finance Business Partner.

 

As Chief Finance Business Partner, you become accountable for all Finance matters related to the Industry Global Sales team. You will be the pivotal link between Global Sales and the finance community, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

 

What is the job about?

In this role, you will co-own the strategy process within the Department, setting ambitious financial targets and deploying them across the organization. Your expertise will be crucial in providing timely and accurate decision support for business operations throughout the entire value chain.

 

Your key responsibilities will thus include:

  • Strategic Execution: Execute the agreed strategy, contributing to the establishment and delivery of short- and long-term financial targets.
  • Performance Management: Implement a performance management mindset, ensuring alignment with the IND Finance management team and the broader organization.
  • Profitability and Transparency: Drive the implementation of a group profitability mindset, securing transparency and clarity on performance metrics and financial numbers end-to-end.
  • Planning and Budgeting: Lead the planning process, including annual target setting, budgets, forecasts, and coordinating business reviews (BRMs).
  • KPI and Incentive Schemes: Establish clear financial and performance KPIs, linking them to staff incentive schemes.
  • Investment and Expense Control: Collect information and control investments from business case development to evaluation and consolidate budgets to ensure financial discipline.
  • Business and Pricing Strategies: Develop business plans for new initiatives and strategic directions and establish pricing processes and target setting in close alignment with the IND Solution & Marketing department.

 

About you

You have a high degree of ethics and moral and acting as an independent executor with high drive and great motivational skills. We imagine that you demonstrate speed, quality, and transparency in financial decision support, ultimately leading to Industry Global Sales achieving their performance goals on cash flow, EBIT, and other financial and non-financial targets.

 

You thrive in influencing stakeholders with strong argumentation, presentation of facts and data, and excellent communication skills.

 

Willingness and ability to work in an international environment is a must, as well as ability to travel approximately 50 days per year.

 

Furthermore, we will be looking for:

  • A master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a similar field.
  • 5-8 years of relevant work experience and in-depth knowledge of how controlling and finance operate.
  • Experience in building bridges between finance and business.
  • Proficiency in SAP and a solid understanding of business processes across functional areas.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and project management skills, coupled with excellent social and communication abilities.
  • Fluency in English, both verbally and written.
  • Fluency in English (written and oral).
