Lead EHS Professional (m/w/d)
Job Description

We are looking for an EHS expert to lead and elevate our environmental, health, and safety standards across operations. This role requires strategic oversight, operational leadership, and a deep understanding of regulatory compliance.

Location: Berlin

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute audits, inspections, and incident investigations to ensure workplace safety and regulatory compliance
  • Drive continuous improvement across EHS processes, with end-to-end operational ownership
  • Manage complex projects and organize team workload effectively within a plant or country-level scope
  • Influence stakeholders and support key business initiatives with strong presentation and communication skills
  • Apply advanced EHS knowledge to mentor peers and guide strategic decisions

 

What you bring:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety, Quality, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • 3–7 years of experience in QHSE roles, preferably in commercial or service environments
  • Solid understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards; experience in both office and field compliance

  • Strong grasp of QHSE principles, tools, and regulations
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and support diverse operational settings
  • Practical mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approach
  • Commitment to fostering a safe, compliant, and service-oriented workplace culture
