Associate CSSC application engineer
Job Description

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

 

As an Associate Customer Sales & Support (CSSC) Application Engineer, you will support a high-performing Customer Sales and Support Center Back Office team by delivering timely and effective technical guidance in response to incoming inquiries. You will leverage your subject matter expertise alongside a developing level of technical and business insight. This role involves collaborating across functional areas and operating with some degree of supervision.

In addition, you will follow established procedures and guidelines to prepare technical quotations and provide accurate information, advice, and assistance related to the organization’s products and services. Your contributions—before, during, and after customer transactions—will help maintain and strengthen the organization’s customer relationships.

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Evaluate complex inquiries from customers and Grundfos external sales teams, delivering the most suitable offers or solutions within required timelines while ensuring full compliance with technical and commercial specifications.
  • Perform system calculations and pump sizing, and prepare project bidding documents such as P&ID drawings, datasheets, instrument details, and other relevant materials that align with client objectives and user specifications.
  • Prepare and submit tender proposals for qualified inquiries, ensuring all contractual and technical requirements are met.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to obtain pricing aligned with tender specifications, supported by detailed costing sheets and technical data.
  • Support the review of high-value tenders prepared by team members to ensure high-quality submissions that address presentation, technical solutions, and commercial considerations.
  • Manage discounts, special offers, credit limits, and pricing conditions in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
  • Communicate the status of inquiries and orders to all relevant stakeholders, including business development, external sales, project engineers, and contract analysts.
  • Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to Sales, Service, and Customer Service teams.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned, consistent with the responsibilities of the position.

 

Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, majoring in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience as an Application Engineer or Project Engineer in an industrial setting.
  • Familiarity with SAP Customer Relationship Manager, SAP ECC, and Business Warehouse.
