Job Description

Then we have an interesting position in Grundfos for you.

 

What is the job about?  

Grundfos is seeking a motivated intern to support our wastewater pumping business with a focus on application engineering, spare parts, and commercial project management. This internship offers hands-on exposure to quoting processes, customer engagement, and internal operations critical to the success of the YCC (wastewater) product line.

 

This position reports to the Regional Sales Development Manager for Water Utility Service, Americas and will work out of our Aurora, IL facility. This internship is part time for a period of 3 to 6 months.

 

Your main responsibilities 

  • Assist with quotation preparation for YCC spare parts and new equipment.
  • Support scope reviews and specification compliance under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Participate in customer meetings and internal bid discussions.
  • Help maintain and update documentation related to YCC product offerings.
  • Collaborate with the team on configurator updates and website content.
  • Contribute to internal training and knowledge transfer initiatives.
  • Day to day support on YCC related portfolio tasks.
  • Other daily tasks and initiatives as assigned or relevant to experience

 

Your background 

Qualified candidates will be working towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or a related technical field or just completed degree. Other skills that we are looking for include:

  • An interest in fluid handling systems, hydraulics, or mechanical systems.
  • The ability to communicate professionally in verbal and written English.
  • A good work ethic.
  • Should be able to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment taking personal responsibility for assignments.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient using electronic tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, Teams).

Please note that relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have the authorization to work in USA without support.
