Grundfos Pumps is seeking a Regional Senior Service Sales Manager to join our Americas Service Sales team. The primary responsibility of the Regional Service Sales Manager is to lead the external sales team towards delivering on the sales growth and profitability targets. It is expected that the Senior Sales Manager manages all aspects of the Performance P&L (PMA). The Senior Sales Manager is accountable for building and maintaining strong relationships to the main Customers in the area. The Senior Sales Manager will be part of the Sales Management team and take part in defining strategic and tactical initiatives for the Region as well as execution of these plans thin own area of responsibility. The Senior Sales Manager is accountable for ensuring an effective and efficient collaboration between all functional areas on a local and regional level ensuring that all drive towards the same aligned goals for the business. The Senior Sales Manager must ensure employee motivation and sense of belonging to ONE company. The role will report to the Global Senior Service Sales Director. Qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support.


What is the job about? 


  • Support, motivate, energize, challenge and develop the organisation to maximise the sales effort and effectiveness. This includes PDD’s, people management, development and coaching (Grow & Win meetings) within the department.
  • Prepare annual budget and sales growth plan for the regional area and contribute to the budget process.
  • Define pricing policy and implement price increase as agreed with global management.
  • Drive correct utilization of and monitor and report on pipeline, order intake, sales, profitability, cost and collections  and manage to the agreed budget (PMA).
  • Review and negotiate substantial orders, framework agreements and rebates according to DOA. 
  • Define tactical marketing plan in close collaboration with marketing.
  • Ensure the team work according to Grundfos best practices and are utilizing the processes and tools.
  • Collaborate with business development on bringing new offerings to the market.
  • The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for the employee motivation and sense of belonging to Grundfos and the local site. 
  • Other Ad-hoc tasks or projects as and when required.      


What do you need to apply?  

Qualified candidates will have a Master’s degree in business and/or engineering combined with at least 10 years of relevant experience from a large international company working in a similar role. 

  • Experience with value added service sales. 
  • Digital services experience.
  • Deep understanding of the Energy Services market with strong contacts w/ ESCO’s, HVAC & FM companies.
  • Experience working in a Regional Sales Manager or GM role.
