Account Manager, Domestic Building Segment - New Zealand

As our new Account Manager, Domestic Building Segment, you will be developing new business opportunities and managing key customer relationships across New Zealand's North Island, championing our Domestic Building Services range including pressure systems, hot water circulators, waste water, and borehole submersibles. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Domestic Building Services Sales team, you'll create impact by Driving growth across our distributor network while delivering innovative pumping solutions that improve everyday water management in homes and buildings throughout New Zealand..

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Promote and sell the Grundfos Domestic Building Services pump range to distributors, wholesalers, and key customers across the North Island territory
  • Achieve agreed sales targets by growing existing distributor partnerships and identifying new business opportunities
  • Manage the full technical sales process using CRM tools, from lead generation through to close
  • Identify and present tailored pumping solutions across multiple product categories to meet diverse customer needs
  • Deliver marketing programs and foster long-term customer loyalty and satisfaction
  • Travel regularly throughout the North Island territory, including overnight trips to regional areas

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a self-motivated sales professional with strong technical aptitude, a proven track record of hitting targets, and the ability to thrive working autonomously on the road. We would also imagine that you have:

  • 3+ years of sales experience in pumps, plumbing, HVAC, irrigation, waste water, hydraulics, or water-related industries
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Valid Driver's License and willingness to travel overnight to regional areas
  • Understanding of Occupationa Health & Safety (OH&S) systems and compliance requirements

It is a plus if you also:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or similar, or trade qualifications in a relevant field
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM)  systems to manage sales pipelines
