As our new Sales Engineer - DBS, you will be driving technical sales for Domestic Building Services (DBS) solutions, partnering with consultants, contractors, and distributors to specify and deliver Grundfos pumping solutions for commercial and residential building projects. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Domestic Building Services (DBS) Sales team, you'll create impact by Expanding Grundfos's market presence by connecting customers with innovative, energy-efficient water technology solutions that improve building performance and sustainability..
Your main responsibilities include:
•    Develop and manage a territory sales pipeline by identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities for DBS pump solutions
•    Provide technical product selection support and system design guidance to consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, and wholesalers
•    Conduct product presentations, lunch-and-learns, and technical seminars to drive specification of Grundfos solutions
•    Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and repeat business
•    Collaborate with internal teams including application engineering, marketing, and customer service to deliver seamless project support
•    Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy and product positioning

 

What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a technically minded sales professional with a strong understanding of HVAC or plumbing systems, excellent relationship-building skills, and a drive to exceed targets in a territory-based role. We would also imagine that you have:
•    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related technical field
•    3+ years of technical sales experience in pumps, HVAC, plumbing, or building services products
•    Demonstrated ability to manage a sales territory and deliver against revenue targets
•    Strong technical aptitude with the ability to read mechanical drawings and understand system hydraulics
It is a plus if you also:
•    Experience with pump selection software or hydraulic calculation tools
•    Familiarity with building codes and standards related to water supply, HVAC, or fire protection systems
•    Existing relationships with consulting engineers, contractors, or distributors in the building services sector
You'll also be available for travelling up to 80 days per year.
