What is the job about?

As an Associate Material Planner, you will act as the key link between vendors and production site requirements. Your main responsibility will be to coordinate, organize, and ensure the timely delivery of purchased parts in the right quantity, based on customer demand and production leveling through the SAP system. You will also:

This role reports directly to our Supply Chain Supervisor and is based in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, operating on-site daily.

Please note that relocation for this position cannot be supported, and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in Mexico without support.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Analyze purchased parts requirements, maintain master data, place orders, and track deliveries daily.
  • Update PO status (AB & LA), resolve incoming issues, and collaborate on invoice unblocking.
  • Send forecasts to vendors and evaluate their performance.
  • Control and maintain optimal stock levels, avoiding slow-moving materials.
  • Reduce AF and prevent production shutdowns.
  • Perform daily routines to identify risks and make adjustments as needed.
  • Ensure high-quality master data within your area of responsibility.
  • Monitor KPIs and prepare reports to support the production process.

Your background

We imagine that you have:

  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • General knowledge of logistics and transportation.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain accountability.
  • Leadership potential and a focus on results.
  • Quick learning ability and strong follow-up skills.
  • Planning and organizational capabilities.
