What is the job about?

The position is based in Bjerringbro, Denmark. As our Application Specialist, you become part of the IS Supply Chain Procurement, Planning & Manufacturing team where we are globally 17 IT professionals responsible for IT tools supporting the Grundfos Group and Divisions within procurement, planning and manufacturing processes, e.g., covering SAP PP (S4 HANA), APO-SNP, and IBP. You will refer to IS Senior Manager, Martin Nielsen.

Your main responsibilities:

You will work with the end-users and business units who use the IS supply chain applications in their daily work. This entails participating in support, development, application design, implementations, and advisory within the digital value chain. The goal is to facilitate continuous growth in business value and usage of the core applications.

 

You will primarily work with:

  • Providing general system support and monitoring
  • Facilitating and improving the monthly Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning processes
  • Implementing business improvements
  • Project participation
  • Advisory

Your background

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with SAP Production Planning (PP) or Advanced Planning and Optimization - Supply Network Planning (APO - SNP) or SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
  • Solid knowledge of supply chain planning processes.
  • Several different backgrounds may have paved the way to this position, but we imagine that you might have a degree within engineering, IT, or supply chain.
  • You speak and write English effortlessly.
