Application Analyst, Data Management
Job Description

 As a Data Management Application Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering professional, global IT support to Grundfos Information Services (IS) end users. You will provide essential application consultancy for Data Management Solutions & Services, drive continuous business improvements, and ensure users gain maximum value from the applications. You will act as a knowledgeable interface between users and the system, keeping stakeholders informed on progress, feasibility, and input requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide application consultancy within the scope of Data Management Operations and contribute to ongoing business process improvements.
  • Deliver second-line support in alignment with the Grundfos IS support framework, including incident and service request handling via ServiceNow.
  • Collaborate with global business users, super users, and functional teams to assess data and archiving needs and deliver appropriate solutions.
  • Execute regular data archiving activities in line with lifecycle management rules and object dependencies.
  • Design, perform, and document test cases for system migrations and upgrades to validate system functionality.
  • Collaborate closely with project team members and business stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the project, with a strong focus on seamless data migration
  • Design, create and execute data extraction, transformation and loading programs

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in information science, Data Management, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in data management.
  • SAP Functional Knowledge and SAP systems (e.g. S/4 HANA)
  • Technical knowledge and experience in using data management tools such as Master Data Consolidation (MDC), Data Migration Cockpit (DMC)
  • Skilled in supporting key users with various data management tasks such as:
    • Data mass creation and changes
    • Data migration project-related data support
    • Data archiving
  • Experience with SAP Data Services for Data Extract-Transform-Load functionality is a plus.
  • Proven ability to work closely with internal users across global locations to support data management requirements and resolve data related issues effectively.
  • Ability to contribute to the continuous improvement of tools and processes within the Data Management Operations team.
  • Passion for technology and innovation, willingness to learn about - and adopt - new data management software and platforms.
