What is the job about? 
As a Material Master Data Coordinator, you will execute material and product master data processes in alignment with Group, Regional, and local practices and standards. You will play a key role in supporting the adoption, standardization, and quality of master data processes and tools. At the same time, you will act as an expert on local variations, ensuring they are accurately managed.

 

This position reports to our Americas Support Manager and operates in a hybrid model from our Apodaca or Monterrey, NL facility.

 

Please note that relocation is not supported for this role. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in Mexico without sponsorship.


Your main responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the Gatekeeper for all incoming CIC‑MDO requests in the cluster; review each request and determine the next steps according to the SLA defined in the CIC‑MDO system.
  • Create, maintain, and extend material master data in line with policies and processes.
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert on material and product master data processes and field usage within the cluster, including local exceptions, forms, and process integrations.
  • Localize product/material data.
  • Provide data to customer systems.
  • Maintain data in local systems.
  • Advise PIM on local needs (including local legislation and certificates).
  • Manage creation through the Product Configuration System.
  • Distribute information to local colleagues in CSSC and Sales.
  • Support the Business Process Owner in documenting local process and field variations.
  • Monitor and drive material and product master data quality based on defined standards.
  • Escalate process or tool issues to the Business Process Owner.
  • Support the Business Process Owner and Divisions in identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to other support functions and master‑data‑related tasks as needed.

 

Your background

 

We imagine that you have: 

  • A degree or equivalent education, preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP ERP/CRM/BW.
  • Deep understanding of Grundfos material and product processes, including cluster‑specific variations.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • High general IT literacy.
  • Strong communication skills in both the local language and English.
  • Experience working in an international matrix organization.
