Job Description

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, executing sales strategies, and providing expert advice on Grundfos products and solutions. This role combines technical expertise with strong customer engagement to deliver exceptional value and support to our clients.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Identify and conduct feasibility studies for new business opportunities utilizing Grundfos products and services.
  • Execute tactical sales plans aligned with overall strategy and assist in preparing budgets for sales and marketing activities.
  • Analyze business data and forecast trends using SAP BW tools.
  • Advise customers, consultants, dealers, and contractors on product performance, modifications, system solutions, and service terms.
  • Gather market intelligence on trends and competitor activities; provide recommendations to counteract competitor strategies.
  • Deliver specialized product and application training to customers, dealers, and internal sales teams.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members to enhance team capability.
  • Register all customer interactions and opportunities in the global CRM system according to company guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate customer master data for your portfolio.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or technical advisory roles.
  • Strong knowledge of pumps, water solutions, or related technical products (advantageous).
  • Proficiency in SAP BW and CRM tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strategic thinking and strong market awareness.
  • Coaching and mentoring capabilities to support team development.
  • Fluency in Arabic is required
  • Extensive knowledge of the Iraqi market is mandatory
