As our new Sales Engineer, you'll be driving technical sales engagements with industrial customers that help them optimize their operations while growing Grundfos's market presence. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Industry Sales team, you'll create impact by building trusted customer relationships and delivering tailored solutions that improve efficiency, sustainability, and reliability across industrial applications.
Your main responsibilities include:
•    Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned industrial accounts and territories
•    Conduct technical assessments of customer applications to recommend optimal Grundfos pump and system solutions
•    Prepare and deliver compelling technical proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations
•    Collaborate with application engineers, product specialists, and service teams to ensure seamless project execution
•    Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through negotiation, closing, and post-sale follow-up
•    Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies

 

What makes you a great fit
Above all, you're a technically minded sales professional with a strong ability to translate complex product capabilities into clear customer value, combined with a genuine drive to build lasting partnerships. We'd also imagine that you are/have:
•    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
•    3+ years of technical sales or application engineering experience, preferably in pumps, rotating equipment, or industrial fluid systems
•    Strong understanding of industrial processes and the ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings
•    Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
It's a plus if you also:
•    Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics
•    Familiarity with Grundfos products or comparable pump and water technology solutions
•    Knowledge of energy efficiency standards and sustainability practices in industrial settings
