As our new Production Planner, you will be driving production planning activities that ensure optimal material availability, capacity utilization, and on-time delivery across our manufacturing operations. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Supply Chain Planning team, you'll create impact by Optimizing production flow and inventory levels to support Grundfos's mission of delivering sustainable water technology solutions to the world..
Your main responsibilities include:
•    Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and material availability
•    Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution of production plans
•    Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to balance service levels with working capital targets
•    Analyze production KPIs and identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy, lead times, and schedule adherence
•    Manage order prioritization and resolve scheduling conflicts to minimize disruptions and meet customer commitments
•    Continuously improve planning processes and leverage ERP systems to enhance visibility and decision-making

 

What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a detail-oriented planning professional with strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a drive to optimize end-to-end production flow. We would also imagine that you have:
•    Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field
•    3+ years of experience in production planning or supply chain planning within a manufacturing environment
•    Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills
•    Strong understanding of demand forecasting, capacity planning, and inventory management principles
It is a plus if you also:
•    APICS/CPIM certification or equivalent supply chain credential
•    Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
•    Familiarity with advanced planning tools such as SAP IBP or similar platforms
