Marketing & Communication
Trade Marketing Specialist
Job Description

Are you passionate about turning trade marketing plans into real results — from partner plans to the shop floor? Then join our mission to pioneer smarter water solutions that reduce energy use and improve lives.

As our new Trade Marketing Specialist, you'll be developing and executing trade marketing campaigns across wholesaler, distributor and dealer networks that strengthen Grundfos's presence and drive growth across Australia and New Zealand. You'll be part of a diverse, supportive and inclusive culture, that celebrates our differences and puts people first by fostering growth, well-being, and a sense of belonging.

What you will be doing

As a key part of the Grundfos Oceania Marketing team, you'll create impact by partnering with trade customers and Sales teams to deliver compelling promotions, in-store activations and campaigns that make Grundfos the preferred choice across the trade.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Partner with Sales and key wholesalers, distributors and dealers to develop joint marketing plans and promotions that support shared growth targets
  • Plan and deliver seasonal promotions, product launches and customer-specific campaigns from briefing through to in-store execution, ensuring alignment with digital channels
  • Coordinate point-of-sale materials, displays, merchandising and in-branch activities, managing suppliers and agencies to ensure quality execution
  • Support dealer events, trade events and branch activations, helping partner teams access the tools and product knowledge to recommend Grundfos confidently
  • Manage activity budgets, track campaign results and use sales data and dealer feedback to continuously improve promotional effectiveness

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you're a hands-on trade marketer with strong relationship-building skills, commercial judgement and the confidence to work independently while collaborating across Sales, Technical Marketing and regional teams. We'd also imagine that you are/have:

  • 5+ years of experience in trade marketing, channel marketing, customer/partner marketing or retail activation, supported by relevant marketing or business qualifications
  • Proven experience working with third-party wholesalers, dealers, distributors or retail partners to deliver promotions, POS displays, product launches or trade events
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior buying teams and trade counter staff alike
  • Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, reviewing campaign performance and linking marketing activity to sales outcomes

It's a plus if you also have:

  • Experience in plumbing, water solutions, HVAC, building products, hardware, power tools, appliances or other dealer-led categories
  • Familiarity with digital marketing integration for omnichannel trade campaigns
  • Experience managing external agencies and print/display suppliers

Why you'll love working here

Based in our Grundfos Adeliade office, you can look forward to:

  • A working environment built around your needs, with flexible hours, home working opportunities and parental support.
  • Annual bonuses and a strong focus on well-being activities.
  • Three days' additional paid leave for volunteering.
  • On-demand training and structured development programmes to support your growth.

Valuing our differences helps us see possibilities where others can't. We therefore welcome and encourage applications from all abilities, experiences, and backgrounds. As part of our commitment to a safe and compliant hiring process, final candidates may be required to undergo a background check, subject to applicable local laws and regulations.
