Service Technician – Based in Regency Park, South Australia

Come and join the world's leading water technology company!  Grundfos Pumps Australia is seeking the skills of a talented Service Technician to join our inclusive and highly motivated Service & Solutions team, based in our Regency Park office, servicing our Australian based customers.

 Your Main Responsibilities: 

•  Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, repair and replace parts, reassemble pumps, pump systems, and accessories in our workshop.
• Assessment of variable speed drives and motor interfacing and monitoring systems.
• Utilizing App and tablet-based reporting technology to complete tasks.
• Prepare clear and complete service reports and ensure that these are submitted on time and as per the company requirements and format (such as warranty claims, working hours, sales lead generation, fault analysis reports etc.)

Your background: 

 The ideal applicant will embody the following skills and experience attributes:

• Experience with electrical/mechanical systems and/or pumps and rotational equipment. Experience with pump technology, controls and variable speed drives would be an advantage.
• Hold an electrical disconnect / reconnect license (or be considered eligible in SA to obtain one). A full electrical license would be an advantage.
• Being curious, accountable, reliable and punctual.
• Organized & results driven - process & outcome focused.
• High level of communication skills - be a good and open communicator.
• Hold the applicable First aid, LVR/CPR & forklift operator courses, or be prepared to undertake these once employment has commenced.
• Experience in using information platforms such as Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook & SAP would be an advantage.
