As our new Accountant, Master Data, you will be managing and maintaining critical financial vendor master data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance across Grundfos's global systems. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Finance Master Data team, you'll create impact by ensuring the integrity of our financial vendor master data foundation, enabling accurate reporting and smooth operations across the entire Grundfos organization.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Maintain Vendor Master Data by creating, updating, and flagging records for deletion within the agreed timelines defined in the SLAs.
- Act as a gatekeeper for data quality, ensuring Vendor Master Data is accurate and maintained in accordance with guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and Vendor Master Data controls.
- Collaborate with internal colleagues to process data maintenance requests efficiently.
- Validate the content of request forms and required documentation.
- Support global Master Data standardization, process improvement, and automation initiatives.
- Coordinate and execute system enhancements and related testing activities.
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a detail-oriented finance professional with strong analytical skills, a structured mindset, and a genuine commitment to data quality and process excellence. We would also imagine that you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2–3 years of relevant work experience in Master Data or a similar Finance, Purchase to Pay, or Order to Cash area.
- Fluent English language skills are required.
- Good understanding of Purchase to Pay processes and solid end-to-end knowledge of the relevant function.
- Structured problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with strong follow-up skills to resolve complex issues.
- Ability to process relevant details, assess their importance, and draw clear, concise conclusions.
- Ability to take the necessary steps to complete assignments or projects within agreed timeframes.
- Experience in providing customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including meeting service quality standards and supporting customer satisfaction.
- Basic user-level knowledge of enterprise software; SAP experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
